Want to turn your Halloween style into cash you can use for the holidays? Then upload pics to Halloween ZiteFight - our newest (and most fun) ZiteFight - and you could win an Amazon gift card!

Show off your Halloween style on a special, holiday-themed ZiteFight. Go to halloween.zitefight.com to vote and upload Halloween pics. In a few weeks, the top three photos will win Amazon gift cards.

Anyone can participate! Can’t decide what to upload? How about a great Halloween costume? Or maybe some super scary Halloween decor. Or a well-carved jack-o-lantern. Anything related to Halloween is eligible. You can upload as many different photos as you want, as long as they showcase separate subjects. The more you post, the better chance you have of winning!

All pics uploaded by Wednesday, November 5th at 11:59 p.m. CST are eligible. On November 15th at noon, we’ll take a look at the leaderboard and the top three photos will win Amazon gift cards! First prize will take home $40, second prize $20 and third prize $10.

The leaderboard is calculated by winning percentage; the fighter who has won the greatest percentage of his or her fights is at the top. The leaderboard is recalculated every hour to incorporate the most recent fights.

So, upload some Halloween photos to get in the game! And tell all your friends to vote for you on Halloween ZiteFight. This promises to be one scary style contest.

Upload a photo to win a ZiteFight t-shirt!

This week, every time you upload a new fighter photo to ZiteFight, you’ll be eligible to win a cool ZiteFight t-shirt. Next Monday morning, we’ll randomly select one new fighter to receive a t-shirt.

So, the more fighters you upload this week, the more likely you are to win! You can upload your photos here.

These are really nice shirts. They’re 100% soft jersey cotton and they come in navy blue and cranberry red. All your friends will be jealous.

So start uploading some new photos! And good luck!

The details:

All fighters uploaded between now and Monday, 10/27 at 9:00 a.m. (Central) will be entered in the random drawing. We’ll select one name at random and email that person with the news on Monday morning. Shirts come in sizes S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Hey ma, it's not just photos anymore! Share your style with labels, tags, descriptions and more

It’s an exciting day in the Appozite office today. We’ve added a bunch of new features to ZiteFight and can’t wait for you to see them! Here’s what we’ve added…

A shiny new Explore page…

You can now find interesting photos in other ways on the newly minted Explore page. We’ve kept the leaderboard but now it looks much cooler.

…that helps you find fighters by tag
We’ve added tags to ZiteFight! Managers can tag their photos (more about that below) and those tags show up in a fancy tag cloud on the explore page. Click on a tag to check out the fighters with that tag.

…and gives props to the n00bs
We think that the rookies on ZiteFight are some of the coolest fighters on the site and wanted a way to show them off while they were still fresh. Since it takes 100 fights to break into the leaderboard, we added a Random Rookie to the Explore page. This will feature a randomly selected new fighter – anyone with under 100 fights can be featured.

Hey show off! Let us in on your style secrets!

Label your photos to share where you bought a specific item or highlight a detail in your photo, to help others learn more about how to get your style. You can even include links to websites where others can buy the items in your photos.

You can add tags to a photo to tell others what’s in that photo. Other people can then search for photos using the tags you created. You can include a style description of the photo to give others some context for the content of your photo.

So get to labeling and tagging…

Anyway, we’re very excited about all these new features. If you’ve uploaded photos, you should log back in and add some tags, labels and descriptions. And while you’re in there, why not add a few more photos? And if you’ve still waiting for the perfect time to upload photos, how does now strike you? It’s more fun when you’re fighting.

We added some great new ZiteFight features today! Specifically, we added links to fighter profiles and manager (user) fighter listings. From the leaderboard, your fighter pages, and the previous round results, you can now click on every single fighter name and photo and get more information about that fighter.

On the fighter profile page, you can view a fighter’s record, ranking and the results of recent fights. There’s also a link to the fighter’s manager so you can go take a look at what other fighters that manager has uploaded.

Previously, only the fighter’s manager had access to this information and couldn’t share it with others. Now anyone can view a fighter profile or send it to friends by going directly to a fighter profile link like this one: http://www.zitefight.com/luna/fighters/f73f1f5c78c2c7eb2e0e9fba0e598916b5e4a904

You can also look at the list of fighters for any user by going to a link like this one: http://www.zitefight.com/AustinPhotog/fighters. Just replace “AustinPhotog” with the username you’re looking for.

Now you can really see how you stack up against the competition! So, go vote and start clicking around.
